Andy C minimix

As many of you know, I am a bit of an Andy C fan boy. His sets are legendary and watching him mix is mind blowing. I remember standing behind him on stage watching him do a 3 deck vinyl set in Bournemouth, all this records in the the right order in 3 stacks around the booth, with a cigarette on top of his record box ready to be lit in that rare moment of downtime between mixing. 

He is a machine when it comes to mixing and this 3 deck live mini mix is a true testament to how technology, knowing your records, quick mixing and still putting on a show is done. 

I know a lot of people will look at this and say he is cheating using a laptop, however he is still mixing, he is still choosing his cue points, lining up the beats and taking time to craft his mix and sound. 

Having used Serato for over 8 years and starting out DJing with vinyl, watching this mini mix shows the power of using a digital system and its not all looking like you are checking your emails.
